50 YEARS OF HISTORY, SOLIDITY, EXPERIENCE AND RELIABILITY

Gianfranco Curti’s entrepreneurial journey began in the 1970s with the founding of Metanfriuli, which helped him establish himself as a pioneer in the design, development, and administration of gas distribution systems in several municipalities around the province of Udine. With the founding of STI SpA, one of the first examples of a partnership between public and private entities investors in the Partnership Region, the Group continued to grow in the 1990s, expanding to Aquileia, Fiumicello, Terzo D’Aquileia, and Grado. This alliance has endured successfully for many years. The Group’s activities have been concentrated on the wholesale and retail marketing of natural gas and energy since 2004, when the gas distribution network management business was sold. This shift was made possible by the recent liberalisation of the Italian energy market. These years saw the establishment of the Bluenergy Group (2002) and Gas Sales srl (2003),

la-nostra-storia
with an emphasis on their respective home regions of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Emilia-Romagna.
Along with the expansion of the “core business” in the years that followed, the Group gradually diversified its activities, putting a particular emphasis on post-counter service management (2015–2016), before moving on to mechatronics (2017) and the IoT world (2019).

The important goals achieved are the outcome of a strong commitment and consistency sustained over time in a competitive market environment. The C.G.I. Group is now able to consolidate its growth in terms of size and quality. This makes it possible to meet the challenge of expanding to new regions while maintaining the high level of services that has always distinguished the companies of the group.
