Even in an extraordinarily complicated year like 2020, the C.G.I. Group closed its consolidated financial statements with record results: € 542 million in sales, EBITDA amounted to € 41.9 million (an increase of 18% compared to the previous year) while the Net profit was € 22.4 million (€ 19.5 in 2019), all with a net debt (NFP) of € 9.9 million, down € 3.8 million compared to 2019. We are proud of these results that have allowed us to become a Group of national importance while maintaining territorial identity, but we are extremely aware that this translates into a growing economic, social and environmental responsibility, made even more complex by the pandemic scenario. For this reason, in the course of the year, we have pushed the offers of natural gas and zero-impact energy; our energy comes 100% from certified renewable sources, while with reference to Gas production, we opted for CO2-free supplies through a system of purchase of carbon credits, thanks to our partner Carbonsink.

But we didn’t stop there. In the near future, competitiveness will be determined by the provision of services for the comprehensive management of households’ and businesses’ energy requirements, as well as by the capacity to integrate ecological transition issues with the adoption of more conscious lifestyles regarding the use and abuse of our planet’s resources. With this in mind, efforts to promote diverse energy-efficient solutions persisted, allowing for the revitalization of old buildings while having a large positive impact on the environment. Despite this, we remain focused on being first and foremost an operator who serves the community and is an integral part of it.The trust that the community’s stakeholders have earned is continually rewarded by a “return” to the community itself through the support of numerous sporting, cultural, recreational, and social initiatives.
ORGANISATION, MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL MODEL
CGI Holding srl has outfitted itself with the Model of Organisation and Management in accordance with the requirements of D. lgs 8 June 231/2001 and the Code of Ethics so that it can monitor the activity carried out by all parties involved in the business, assigning them specific functions and operations, and establishing a supervisory body. The Organisational Model 231 is one of the main tools for preventing crimes perpetrated by the company’s directors, employees, and collaborators in order to maintain transparency and efficiency and win our clients’ complete trust.
